The Salvation Army are currently hiring 2 individuals for Part Time Sales Assistant roles. 1 individual will be based in the Kirkcaldy branch and the other in Leven. Working 25 hours across 4 days

Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd is the trading 
arm of The Salvation Army in the UK and Republic 
of Ireland. We were established in 1991 to help 
fund The Salvation Army’s vital work with 
vulnerable people in the UK, and today we raise 
money and encourage reuse and recycling through 
over 250 charity shops and donation centres, and a 
nationwide network of around 8,000 clothing banks. 

The role is wide and varied with the following duties
and responsibilities:
• Support manager in day to day running of the 
shop, working alongside staff and 
volunteers.
• Consistently provide high level of customer 
service.
• Present stock appropriately to maximise 
sales.
• Rotate stock as per the Company standards.
• Hang, ticket, size and cube all clothing as 
appropriate.
• Actively encourage the public to donate 
saleable goods.
• Operate the till and handle financial 
transactions.
• Comply with all Health and Safety 
regulations as per the Company Health and 
Safety policy.
• Reflect values and ethos of The Salvation 
Army
