Fife Council are looking to recruit 2 Care Assistants, to be based in Cowdenbeath, Fife.

About the Role
The main duties involved in the role will include:
- Promoting social inclusion by working with people to maximise their personal independence, health and wellbeing to access opportunities in their local communities.
- Providing positive support and encouragement for people to make their own choices and decisions in all aspects of their daily lives.
- Undertaking a range of personal/physical care tasks when required by assisting with eating, drinking, administering medication, continence, dressing and any other tasks in accordance with the support plan.

- Communication skills.
- Ability to be innovative and creative
- Ability to work in a flexible way
- Ability to work within a team
- Basic IT skills (Embrace technology & information)
Required Qualification Level
- Must have, or be willing to achieve in the first period of registration, the Social Services & Healthcare SCQF Level 6 ( equivalent to SVQ 2) or equivalent to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration.
- Must have an adult PVG
