The CRT service within Fife Employment Access Trust focuses on improving cognitive skills that are having an impact on daily functioning and employment. Sessions take place in a group or 1:1 and can be delivered online or face2face.
Employ Your Mind aims to work on improving daily living, confidence, employability skills, and give people the opportunity to think about their own future, which in turn can help them to better self-manage their mental health difficulties. Working with NHS or another organisation who supports their mental health and can support engagement with the EYM project.
The project supports young adults to eplore careers that might be of interest to them. Participants visit real workplaces over a block period and learn from hands on experience what each job entails. From working outdoors and with animals to cafes and crafts, this project supports everyone's career ambitions.
A bespoke employability service. 1-year pre-work +1 years in-work support. 1:1 support from dedicated personal advisor who will co-ordinate activities required. These include: * CVs & Applications * Health & Wellbeing - Anxiety Management, Confidence Building, Assertiveness * Accredited and non-accredited training employer services and in work support
First Steps offers 1:1 support to individuals from 16 years old across Fife. A qualified Supported Employment Coordinator gets to know individuals and works with them to create a personalised action plan to increase their confidence, establish a routine and approach employability skills at a pace that suit them. Signposting to specialist support agencies to ensure the highest multi-agency support.
Going Forth includes a 14-week programme called Tools for Living to support individuals to develop strategies to maintain their mental health and develop goals for moving forward. Staff provide initial 1:1 support to service users to establish goals and this is reviewed regularly. Support is then provided to help identify the next steps.
The project focuses on personal development and improving social, physical and emotional wellbeing through a combination of structured practical tasks, group-based activities and discussion all onsite at Silverburn Park in Leven. Working in partnership with Veterans 1st Point.
Participants work with an Employment Specialist on a 1:1 basis, and receive tailored support based on their abilities, experience and future hopes. The tailored approach also involves working closely with aparticipants support network and potential employers and continues when the participant is in work, providing a truly individual service.
We encourage people to think about their skills, abilities, experiences and work ambitions. We help individuals overcome barriers that are holding them back and support people to prepare for, find and stay in work. Individuals can be supported to: *improve their use of digital technology *Develop CVs and Work, Welfare and wellness Action plans *Take part in training to improve their chances of finding and staying in work *Engage with Employers * Manage in-work challenges
The project is delivered remotely (telephone or Zoom) over 16 x 30 minute sessions. Each participant can choose whether to use the seesions to discuss the content of our self-management courses or to discuss other issues relevant to moving into work.
The Options in Life Pop-up Café is designed to support young adults with Additional Support Needs and learning disabilities to gain experience of working in a safe and supportive cafe environment. Learning customer services skills, money handling, barista training and food preparation on a weekly basis. The cafe runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Ceres, Fife.
Our Supported Learning courses offer the opportunity to particiapate in a range of activities that promote learning, training and personal development. Participants might not know what the right career is for them or they might just want some extra skills to make a start in fulfilling their potential. Our courses look to support particiapnats to progress onto mainstream college courses, employment or supported meaningful activity in the community. Please see website for further information
