FairPrice Mobility Ltd provide a bespoke service for those who need the additional support through adjustments or complete installations to maintain independent living. With various unique piece of equipment, expertly installed and leaving no trace they have even been in your home; Kayleigh was entering a challenging environment where exceptional customer care and service, along with technical knowledge to advise and guide.
Learning the basics gave Kayleigh an opportunity to confirm her understanding and expand her knowledge. Answering calls and asking the right questions to allow the correct decisions to be made to support and give the customer what they need. Organising rotas for installations and ensuring the right parts and equipment are ordered and ready for the tradesmen to get the job done.
Kayleigh has started her Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration supported by Fife College. She is really pleased that the course is work-based. No need to attend college as the assessor attends at your workplace and you upload your assignments online. This suits Kayleigh perfectly as she had concerns about attending college in person. The employer is happy as his apprentice has the support of the rest of the team and can build on their experiences and her role progresses.
Here is what Kayleigh Manager Mary had to say, ‘Kayleigh's apprenticeship is going really well, and she has already started on 1 of the units, she has had a few teams' meetings with the college and has another one lined up next week.
She is finding the work interesting and is fully committed to completing it within the next few months. She is spending 1 day a week at working on the units with feedback from myself as well as putting in extra hours during her free time. We are pleased with her progress and look forward the result.
The employer has been supported by the Fife Job Contract, and this is not the first time, with apprenticeships being offered for engineers. Now FairPrice Mobility is building on success and working with Fife Job Contract once again.
