Like most young people, Oliver was looking for work that would inspire, motivate and develop him as a young person. With a passion for the outdoors, working on a farm was ideal

Oliver wanted to learn and develop his knowledge and skills. So far, he has completed a lime pointing course and has worked to restore some of the original walls around the farm. With further courses in the pipeline, he has a busy year ahead.

Rachel, employer had this to say,’ We have been able to increase or farm staff and increase the work we do. The FJC (Fife Job Contract) funding has made all the difference and has allowed us to recruit and upskill local people.’

‘With good support from family, Rachel and the Employability Officer; I have a job I enjoy, stability and able to increase my knowledge and skills,’ said Oliver.
